The start of an adventure
Our Story
We started our company in 2020. A year earlier we had conceived the idea of marketing Central American crafts and furniture, especially hammocks. This is how we started planning and for March 2020, a complicated year in the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a few days before the crisis, we ventured to travel to Nicaragua and bring our first shipment of products, mainly the famous Nicaraguan hammocks. After a bumpy trip and a difficult return due to the imminent border closure, we finally managed to enter the country and continue with our entrepreneurship.
It all started with a trip
The emergence of an idea
We share a hobby: open water swimming. In February 2019 we traveled to Nicaragua to cross the Apoyo lagoon, as part of our training for an open water event that we would take part in March of that year in Mérida. After completing the training and knowing a little more about the people and the country, we had our first approach with the artisans of the region and we couldn’t help but fall in love with the passion, love, dedication and skill in the hands of the artisans who make hammocks. So we agreed that this product, of excellent quality and comfort and that was made with so much passion through generations in Nicaragua, it had to be taken to the world.
